It has been 18+ years since I began my journey as a musician. When I picked up my first guitar in a music shop, I still remember the excitement of the challenge that lay ahead!

It’s fair to say the introductory months of learning an instrument are the hardest and by putting in the relentless effort I’m so glad I persevered through those times!

Mostly self-taught for the first 5 years, I decided to study a Musical Diploma in Warrington & Vale Royal College (formerly Warrington Collegiate). It was here that I began my trade, mixing with local talent, playing with many different bands and musical theatre projects.

This thoroughly enjoyable experience led me to study for my BMus (hons) degree in performance in London at BIMM London (formerly Tech Music Schools) in 2011.

A 3 year course that took me everywhere from small stages, to larger venues such as Shepherd’s Bush Empire and the O2 in Islington with fellow musicians from all over the world.

Before, during and since graduating in 2015 I have provided tuition to many students and guitar “hobbyists” alike. Skill levels are suited to the student’s wants and needs and workshops can be great fun and educational!
