Do I need to own a guitar before I start my first lesson?

As with learning any instrument, it is advised that all customers do at least own their own guitar. Whereas I am able to temporarily provide a second guitar for workshops (if needed), there is a certain degree of home practice required for successful progression.

Do you do home visits?

Lessons can be provided either at my home in Marina Village, Runcorn, or I am able to travel to customers also. I don't currently charge for travelling to the advertised areas but anywhere outside may require a surcharge for travel costs.

Do you teach complete beginners?

Yes! I teach a multitude of different levels from beginner to intermediate. I will quickly gauge individual customer's ability and workshops will be organically suited towards that individual. You wont be a beginner for long!

What hours do you operate?

As a guideline I operate between the hours of 9am - 8pm. If you require lessons outside of these times, then out-of-hours workshops can be considered on request.

What styles do you teach?

Whether you are looking to learn acoustic or electric. I offer lessons in both amongst a multitude of different genres. From rock, pop, funk, country, R&B the list is limitless!

Do I have to attend guitar lessons every week?

No. The frequency of lessons is entirely your choice! However, I find the best results come from motivated students booking regular intervals with a clear practice regime. 1 or 2 lessons per week is a good guideline.
